Borobudur

bas-reliefs at Borobudur are too broad.
The presentation divided into 2 groups, depending on the main material used, wood or stone.
Wooden architecture is more to technical details.
The stone constructions were inspired by Indian Priests.
However, there are also an influence of Chinese techniques in some buildings.
Several centuries before the beginning of the Christian era, Dong-Son civilization bringing the bronze-casting techniques..

The cover of this piece is decorated with an architectural illustration on the round bosse. It consists of a house with a roof where the ridge beam is extended in the form of projecting gables. This special techniques appears on the reliefs of Borobudur, in the lower level on the first gallery, north side, west wing.
